Should a claim of infringement be made, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the developer responsible for the content, allowing them the opportunity to file a counter-notification in compliance with the DMCA.

Filing a Copyright Infringement Notice

To report an alleged copyright violation on Castlemod, please submit the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorized representative acting on behalf of the owner of the allegedly infringed material. Third-party agencies representing copyright holders must also submit a copy of their “Authorization Letter” granting them the right to act on behalf of the owner.
  2. A clear identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to be infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are involved, a representative list of the works in question should be provided.
  3. URLs or other specific links to the content in question to help us quickly locate and address the issue.
  4. Contact information for the complainant, including email address, phone number, and any other relevant details to allow communication.
  5. A statement made under penalty of perjury confirming that the information in the notice is accurate and that the complainant is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of the infringed material. It is important to understand that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing may be held liable.
